As
there is a wide range of nano particles we are using these days to run
different applications and to conduct different tests, before we use them, we
must collect some details about these nano particles so that we can make the
best use of them and can draw accurate result. When it comes the material like
polystyrene which is actually a plastic polymer, this material is used for the
making of different items. This material is also in demand at different
industries. And now the polystyrene
microspheres 1μm are drawing a great deal of attention in the photonics
field where the biosensors are in use. These are the nano particles that make
self assembling of the nano particles look easier. As far as the material
polystyrene itself is concerned, this is best known for its biocompatible
nature. Due to this reason, such material is not going to produce any adverse
effects when the nano particles interact with each other in a biological
system.
Polystyrene Nanoparticles |
- Studies suggest the fact
Polystyrene
is a very commonly and frequently used plastic material. Due to the
polymerization process of the styrene monomers, the polystyrene comes into the
existence. As per the vitro and vivo studies, it is also suggested that the polystyrene nanoparticles can also
contribute a lot to penetrate the organisms through different routes and
sources such as digestive tracts, respiratory system and skin.
- Can be synthesize to get different sizes
It’s
the polystyrene nano particles which are in use to make the Styrofoam as well
as other products like cup covers, CDs, and toys. These nano particles also
hold different surface functionalization properties due to which they can be
synthesized into different sizes.
